Mr. Said Salim Al-Shanfari, a prominent figure in business and tourism development. As CEO of the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center, he has been instrumental in positioning Oman as a global destination for events, fostering strategies that attract international conferences and exhibitions.

With an extensive career spanning telecommunications and product development, Mr. Al-Shanfari has held executive roles at Omantel, Ooredoo, and Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (DU), contributing to strategic marketing and innovation. He also played a pivotal role in Oman Mobile’s growth and previously served at Sultan Qaboos University’s Information and Telecommunication Research Center.

An alumnus of Hull University (MBA, 2007) and Southern Illinois University (BA in Computer Management Information Systems and International Business, 2002), Mr. Al-Shanfari is an Associate Certified Coach by the International Coaching Federation and a certified LEGO SERIOUS PLAY facilitator. Recognized as one of Oman’s top 100 influencer CEOs in 2019, he is a graduate of the National CEO Program (2017).

Mr. Al-Shanfari’s expertise extends to workshops on self-awareness, organizational culture, effective communication, and leadership. He has completed specialized training programs at renowned institutions such as London Business School, IMD Switzerland, and CTI UAE.
