Ms. Aleksandra Minic

Sustainability specialist, the Modern College of Business and ‎Science (MCBS), Oman

Ms. Aleksandra Minic has a diverse background in education and management across Oman, South Korea, Turkey, and Serbia, Aleksandra is committed to operationalizing sustainability and human rights both in academic settings and in broader community-based projects, reflecting her deep commitment to driving global sustainable development.

She is a sustainability specialist and educator at MCBS, currently pursuing a PhD in Contemporary Business Decision Making with a focus on ESD, education for sustainable development. She has developed sustainability-focused courses such as the “Introduction to Sustainable Development”, aimed at integrating sustainability into business education. Her research explores topics like the Circular Economy, the Triple Bottom Line, energy transition readiness in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, HDI and education for sustainable development. She has presented her work at international conferences, including papers like “Underpinning Sustainability Paradigms: Circular Economy and Enhanced Triple Bottom Line”,  “Towards Developing Sustainability-Driven Strategic Framework in ICT SMEs in Oman: Case Study”, and upcoming “Development without Growth: Circular Economy, Doughnut Economics and Related Models”, accepted to be presented and published at Finiz 2025, in Belgrade, Serbia.
