Dr. Arwa A. Alhinai holds a PhD in Theology and Religious Studies from the University of Glasgow, where her thesis earned the prestigious Lanfine Bursary Prize for Outstanding Research. She also holds a Master of Letters in English Literature (Modernities) from the University of Glasgow and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Nizwa.

Her teaching philosophy fosters critical thinking, analytical depth, and creative expression. Her research bridges World Literature, Cultural Studies, Philosophy, and Religion, with expertise in contemporary Arabic literature. Through her critical reviews and translations, she contributes to global literary discourse and promotes cross-cultural understanding between Arabic and English traditions, strengthening connections between Eastern and Western intellectual heritage.
